I’m trying to work out how this year has flown by so quickly… I guess one of the biggest factors for me is how manic life has been… I’ve started a new job (commuting to London) as well as marathon training. It’s safe to say I’m strapped for time these days! This is not to say that I don’t love it though… and I’m finally getting into a great rhythm, which helps my productivity so much.
As we say goodbye to another September, I’m casting my memory back to my first ‘Blogtober’ (blogging every day in October, for those who don’t know what it means!). My first thought when I took on the challenge was that there was just no way I’d be able to think of something to blog about every single day. Admittedly, some posts were certainly better than others, but I completed it (as a very new blogger!) and felt so proud of myself.
I’m 5x busier this year than I was last, and I had decided that I was going to take on the challenge anyway… but I’ve very recently decided not to commit to posting every single day in October. I wish I could be participating – I’ve got lots of ideas up my sleeve, including a nice variety of series posts – but I am so busy with work and life that I can feel myself getting overwhelmed already. So I’m not going to commit to posting every day, but I’m going to commit to posting more frequently and making the posts as well written as they deserve to be.
I can’t wait to see what everyone will come up with – and I hope you guys like the content I will be posting throughout October (who knows, maybe I will end up posting every day after all…we shall see!)
To fill the blogtober void, I’ve chosen a few of my favourite posts from last year to share with you all!
Well, I hope I’ll be back tomorrow, but if not – see you soon!
