The Perfect Lazy Sunday Set Up

With the cold nights drawing in way faster than anyone would hope for, snuggling up at home has never felt so appealing. I for one am totally exhausted from working hard during the week, that by the time the weekend hits I’m totally dead to the world and want to spend an entire day vegged out on the sofa. I don’t want to feel like I’m wasting that time though, so I’ve come up with my tried and tested recipe for the perfect lazy Sunday set up.

If you’re not already doing it, I want you to take a moment to imagine what your own perfect Sunday looks like…and if you were thinking about something beginning with ‘Net’ and ending with ‘flix’, then you should keep on reading 😉… but seriously, watching tv is probably pretty high on most people’s lists here. It doesn’t require too much energy or brainpower and we all know how easy it is to binge for hours on end, emerging later to discover it’s dark outside and you have only logged 10 steps on your Fitbit. The thing about binge-watching tv, though, is that you’ve got to do it in a certain set up for it to work. You don’t want to watch six hours of content if you’re hunched over your phone screen, so my preferred choice is on the tv with a cuddle on the sofa. (I fully recommend this if it’s an option. You could even do it in the sleekest forms, such as on the Ultra HD 4K TV Panasonic, which looks stunning and may be on my wish list!)

Take a look at my perfect Sunday set up below!

PJs

Nobody wants to sit in a bra or a pair of jeans for an entire day. Frankly, I’d wear sweatpants to work if I could get away with it. My go-to is always a cosy pair of sweatpants and pj bottoms (the Christmas-ier the better), a vest and an oversized jumper.

Duvet/Blankets

Why hasn’t anyone made this a thing before? We’ve got a spare duvet in our house and it’s recently become a permanent fixture on the sofa. I can’t express how comfy and warm it is! If you can’t spare a duvet, a bunch of blankets will do!

Fluffy Socks

Complete your comfy outfit with a pair of fluffy socks. Give your feet a good clean & moisturise first for that silky smooth feeling!

Hot Drinks & Snacks

Take a dreamy hot chocolate and some A+ snacks and there’s no reason to move all day long. I found a whole bunch of mouth-watering hot chocolate recipes here if you need a hand!

What to Watch

At this time of year, a good Christmas film is always going to be a great idea. I can’t go a year without watching Love Actually, it’s an absolute favourite of mine. I’m also working my way through The Good Wife at the moment, which I’m really enjoying and would definitely recommend watching!

Have a wonderfully lazy Sunday!
